Kri Eco Resort

Kri Eco Resort opened in 1994 nearly 10 years before Sorido Bay and is shaded by palm trees along a fine white sand beach. Guests enjoy traditional style accommodations in the Papuan houses built over the water. Built with nature in mind nature guests enjoy the sound of the sea and the exotic calls of the jungle birds from the comfort of their rooms. Often if you look out of your window you will be rewarded with a glimpse of a shark, rays or schools of fish swimming just below your house.

The traditional houses use local materials from the jungle and each contains two rooms and a sitting area, with sliding door for privacy. Rooms are equipped with basic but comfortable bedding, mattress, pillow, fan and mosquito net. There are also handmade benches or lounge chairs and tables for guests to relax or work on their cameras, 220V power outlets are there as well. At Kri Eco Resort guests share Indonesian-style bathrooms which are located on the beach, thereby reducing the chance of pollution and contamination.

 

Meals and drinks are served in the restaurant, which is a large over-water dining and kitchen house. You can see how the staff cook and prepare your meals with no electrical appliances, everything is manual! As vegetables, fruits and fish are bought daily from the local villagers this guarantees that all meals are truly fresh.

Kri Eco Resort is a simple, informal, but very comfortable dive resort in a very pristine natural setting. Great food and a relaxed friendly atmosphere in a peaceful location, this is a perfect getaway place for all those that enjoy natural surroundings and tropical island beauty.
 

Tours Price:
7 nights unlimited dives package EURO 1,260 per person
Includes: full-board, accommodation, Sunday-to-Sunday transfers, unlimited dives for scheduled boat dives and unguided house reef dives between 07:00-21:00 within 10 km radius of the resort, excursion to see the red bird of paradise on Saturday morning, tax and service.

Diving is not offered between 6PM Friday and 6PM on Saturday, but night diving is possible on Saturday after 6PM.
